I have almost exclusively worn 5.10 shoes for the past 5 or so years ever since I really started getting into rock climbing and mountain biking. I’ve kept buying more because 1) the quality of construction and 2) their sticky Stealth Rubber. Since I was introduced to their product line they have seemed to expanded their product line to all of the outdoor sports and even military. Sickness! It’s easy to find shoes that are comfortable, but its a little harder to find something that can take the abuse without being too heavy and that can give you confidence in your footholds. That’s pretty important when you have a camera over your shoulder worth around the same as a luxury sedan. Only advice I can give you is watch the upcoming T&E video, or find a local dealer and try these kicks on their fake rock display or something to test the grip. The good: – Stealth S1 rubber compound might be my favorite – Lightweight – Double Double stitching in critical areas – Sturdy construction and ample support for an open ankle shoe – Snug heel cup – Diggin’ the lacing system The Bad: – My opinion they might run a half size too big – Only comes in 1 color (colour if you are Canadian, eh), still dig the color though Awesome Scale (before T&E) – 9/10 If you are a company wishing to send products for review, please contact me at: Andy …
